PSALM 32
Blessed is he whose transgressions are forgiven,
whose sins are covered.
Blessed the man whose sin the Lord will never
count against him,
And in whose spirit there is no deceit.
When I kept dumb, I felt as though my body
wasted through all my groaning.
All day and night your hand was heavy down
against me
My strength was weakened as in the summer heat.
Then I confessed, and spoke of all my sin out to you,
out in the open.
I said "I'll confess and tell the Lord of my
transgressions".
And you forgave me the guilt of all my sins.
Therefore let everyone who loves the Lord pray
to you while you may be found,
Surely when the mighty waters rise,
They will not reach him.
You are my Lord, you are my refuge and protector,
And you surround me with songs of deliverance.
Instruction I'll give and I will teach you in the ways
to go, I'll watch and guide you.
Do not be like the horse or mule who have no
understanding,
Who must be bridled before they come to you.
The torments and woes of wicked men are many
numbered, so many troubles:
But the Lord's ceaseless love, this love of his
that is unfailing,
Surrounds the servant who puts his trust in him.
Rejoice, be joyful in the Lord, be glad, all of you,
all you righteous men.
Sing, sing your praises to the Lord,
All of you who are upright in heart.
