The thumping head that I get when I wake
Is my fault from the night before.
As I feel like death and my hands both shake,
I don't think I can take any more.
It's the same thing every weekend,
Why it happens I don't know.
And I see no reason
Cause there is no reason
The reason is I'm feeling low...
Tell me why?
I don't like Sundays.
Tell me why?
I don't like Sundays.
Tell me why?
I don't like Sundays.
I want to shoo
Them out of town.
The morning starts with a trip to the loo
As I'm feeling quite unwell.
And I look for the pills, well wouldn't you?
Without them I'd be worse than hell.
But just when I'm feeling better
There's nowhere I can go,
And I see no reason
Cause there is no reason
The reason is I'm feeling low...
Tell me why?
I don't like Sundays.
Tell me why?
I don't like Sundays.
Tell me why?
I don't like Sundays.
I want to shoo
Them out of town.
The days get worse when the kids play rough
And go breaking all their toys.
Then the wife goes mad, and if that's not enough,
The shouting starts; I can't stand the noise.
There's nothing to do but bear it,
Doesn't matter how I try,
And I see no reason
Cause there is no reason
What reason do you need to cry?
Tell me why?
I don't like Sundays.
Tell me why?
I don't like Sundays.
Tell me why?
I don't like Sundays.
I want to shoo
Them out of town.
